My introduction to Chinese Medicine started at Vermont Law School in South Royalton. I had a migraine while I was merely thinking about studying for the bar. It was late March of 2009 and the Vermont Bar was set for July 2009.  I was listening to Patrick Timpone’s radio show guest, Rich Stacel, a Chinese martial artist, Qigong practitioner and more.  He was teaching listeners how to decrease headache pain.  I raised my hands above my head and performed the breathing techniques. 1 It worked instantly. My Training to Become a Chinese Medicine Practitioner

I was taught Chinese Medicine in a very intimate setting. There were three other students in the class and thus we got to know one another for better or for worse. The certified acupuncturist teaching the class had trained many in Chinese Medicine before us. On the first day he taught us Qi Gong and a Taoist meditation called the Earth Meditation.  All meditations taught to us in class, he learned from Master Wu in China. Earth Meditation is a healing modality. It helps to ground ones energy and promotes focus. It heals the mind, body and spirit. Qi gong is the aligning of breath with movement. 1 Read more →

Students asked the professor questions like what do the meditations do for you? Why do we do them? The answer was always, “you tell me.” My competitive nature and curiosity led me to want to answer the professor’s question. The Benefits of the Taoist Meditations and Qi gong [Part 2]

With constant feelings of despair and agony I implemented Earth Meditation and Shen Meditation in to my daily life. These meditations enhanced me and continue to do so.  The meditations alerted me to my intuitive capabilities and enhanced them greatly.
